This was the first time back in 3 years. It was really great to hang out with Nicole and see her drag her street bike for the first time as well as seeing friends that I lost touch with. The car didn't improve today.  I have a couple ideas of how to help my times a smidge. I am thinking new tires might be needed since these are 4 years old with over a hundred passes on them I'm sure they are done. Another thing is my tach. I have the factory one in there that is not near accurate during acceleration and is very hard to read when it is light out. I filled up my tank in down town Vallejo which is about 6 miles up from sears so maybe I could shed some weight there. Maybe next time I can get the times down. Oh yea, don't even ask me about the battery/alt issues I was having! I'm glad I made it home!

Sacramento Raceway 5.13.06

I went back to Sacramento Raceway to shoot for the improvement. I only got 3 passes in due to losing a belt. It got thrown on run 2 and I found it but I wasn't as lucky the second time it was thrown. I spend the rest of the night trying to get a belt to get me home. I did not get to my normal 60ft times of 1.80, I was not revving it high enough and I didn't have time to play with it much since I lost the belt. I was on my way to running what I had wanted but got cut short. I was looking forward to running after dark but did not make it that far. Nicole, as always, was a huge support. We both got horribly sun and wind burnt (from the drive) together. Check out the Pictures she took. My best time was 12.71 at 108 with 1.80 60ft.
