Header Modification

  












This header did not clear the kick-out oil pan so I planned to modify it to clear.
 

 Before modification the tube pressed into the oil pan about a quarter inch.
I cut and fit the tubes to allow clearance
For a clean, unmodified look, I ground down the welds
This is the finished product.

Now we have 1/4" of clearance, moving the tube 1/2" total
