K&N Air Cleaner

Like everything else I own, the
first thing I do is put a K&N
air cleaner on. It might not
always make power over stock on
these bikes, but it's an easy to
clean, long lasting filter that
allows other modifications to do
their job more effectively.

The installation
process went better than
I had expected. I didn't
have a manual for this
bike so it was all guess
work. I was able to move
the tank over with only
removing 2 bolts and
disconnecting 1
electrical connection. I
didn't want to let any
fuel out. The air
cleaner box came apart
with a Philips head
screw driver and out
poped the factory air
cleaner.
