This was my second time driving at Laguna-Seca. I have made several changes to the car since the last time here. I removed the rear anti-roll bar, changed rear shocks to BeCools, ran a Holley 950, Moser 12-bolt (switched gears from 3.73 to 3.55) and installed a FastShafts' aluminum driveshaft.
The day started out great. We arrived at the track on time and the car was teched and ready to run for the first session. On the 3rd or 4th lap the black flag got waved at me for a sound violation. Monterey County put a sound limit on Laguna-Seca's normal track days of 92Db. Tripping the sound booth at 95 while cruising made me really go out of my way to keep from getting that flag again. I gave up the whole back hill from turn 5 to turn 6 letting gobbs of people pass every lap. Next time I will have my car baffled enough to not worry about the booth anymore!
Car felt ok, it really needs some front suspension work and tires to go any faster than it does now. I had a little clutch slippage though the day so that is also on the to do list. I had to cut the day short after my 4th session due to an intermittent steering problem (the most scary kind). I could see this possibly causing an accident so I didn't want to risk it.

I couldn't ask for much more, great friends, great car and a great time.
